The Apple Shed: Quality Fruit and Vegetables for over 100 Years

Apple season begins in late-August, then in late-November we offer fresh-cut and u-cut Christmas trees.Since 1907, our family has been growing the finest quality fruit and vegetables on the land surrounding The Apple Shed. Third-generation owners, Gary & Barb Wells opened The Apple Shed as a fruit stand and cider mill in 1973 when fourth-generation owner Matt Wells was just a toddler. In the last 40 years, the Shed and farm have grown significantly, but we have stayed true to the original mission of growing quality produce for our customers.

Besides growing quality fruit and vegetables, The Apple Shed offers season-long family fun with our Farmyard Friends, playground and our famous Corn Slide; these activities are free and available all season during store hours.  Be sure to stop in the store and shop our great selection of food items, gifts, gadgets and country & primitive home décor.
