The Apple Shed, located just off Rt. 88 between the villages of Newark and Sodus in Upstate, New York, is not only a retail farm market with the best apples, sweet cherries, peaches and strawberries around, but also a place where you can watch fresh cider being made, go for a relaxing hayride through beautiful apple orchards, pick out your jack-o-lantern, enjoy a fresh-baked pie or homemade doughnuts or pet our farmyard friends.

History

Owned and operated by the Wells Family, The Apple Shed has been serving customers since 1971.  Our main operation is located one mile from the four-corners in Fairville, New York, on Maple Ridge Road.  At this location, we have nearly 100 acres of apples, as well as strawberries, peaches and sweet cherries. 

In addition, the family operates another market, known as Wellsview, between Castile and Perry, New York (near Letchworth State Park), on Middle Reservation Road.
